Get on the water this summer at Hudson River Park‘s Pier 66!  Located in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, New York Outrigger offers free outrigger paddling and stand-up paddleboarding in the heart of New York City.  The 2017 season will start in May, with our opening day determined by weather/water temperatures.  Free sessions are offered on most weekends throughout the summer and interested New Yorkers are encouraged to join our Novice Sessions meetup page, where sessions will be announced.

New York Outrigger is New York City’s first and only outrigger canoe group.  Our volunteer-members donate their time to provide outreach and training programs for others.  Everyone with basic swimming skills is welcome at our sessions and we are always on the lookout for positive and enthusiastic New Yorkers who wish to help make a difference with our nonprofit.

For further information about our Novice Sessions, check out our program description page.

Can you confirm when the next Outrigger canoe beginner lessons will start? Is the season currently over? What is the cost and how many lessons are included?

    Thanks,
    Barry

Paddling is a fun but not that cheap activity so, if you find any place which is offering it for cheap or for free then why not we go for that place and thanks you shared this place with us. I am definitely going to this place and will take my family along.
